PERSONALITY; Cold and angry constantly. Lao Jiang is the most rage bursting man alive. He's will willingly beat the living shit out of you if you piss him off. He also tends to be very irrational when upset and listens to the first thing he hears and sticks to it. On the other hand, this two-faced man has a kinder side to him when he's around children. He's more of a father figure. A very strict father figure. He won't hurt people he loves, but if the loved one angers him, he will simply give them the cold shoulder.
HISTORY; In the year 245 C.E., Lao was a well known, wealthy potion master, working day an night serving his emporer. Being a widower, he lives alone with his growing nine-year-old daughter, Meng Loan, who dreamed of being successful like her father. Lao was informed of an arranged marriage between his daughter and a son of another wealthy family. Once he met the family, he noticed them being awefully shady, with a hint of greed and thier son was no better than them. Lao immediatly know that thier son wasn't good enough for his beloved, Meng Loan. With the family angry, they devised a scheming plan to get revenge on Lao for not accepting the marriage. Coming home from a long day at work, he noticed his furniture destroyed and blood all over the wooden walls and paper doors. Horror fell to his face as he sees his daughter on the tatami floor, beaten and stabbed to death. Lao pulled the limp body to himself and bawled for his daughter. He already knew who would do such a thing to him and how long this was plotted for; he swore vengance against the family and began to plot a way to destroy them. After many hours of mourning and plotting, he decided to create a powerful potion, a potion where it enhances the man's rage, anger, and vengance; adding brut strength, witch-like magic, and the ability to transform into a monstrous animal. He called it the "Lao Meng Loan" Soup, after himself, and his beloved daughter. Drinking the finished potion, made from one cup of wheat grass, one table spoon of salt, and a pinch of dried frog, and one whole dragon, he felt the power flowing through him. His soft brown eyes turned into furious purple slits, his hair wild and spread, and his marking branding under his eyes. Feeling invinsible and unforgiving, he broke into the home of the murder of his daughter and killed them, one buy one mercilessly. In the end, he burned both houses, his and the other family's. Yearning to forget his past, he became a wanderer, setting his goal to be the most powerful "Heylin" Warrior ever.
Throughout the years, he met warriors claiming to be strong but instantly took them down with ease. He turned Hannibal Bean, who once was Hac Ren Bao, into a bean for mocking his height. He slayed the Xiaolin Dragon, Grand Master Dashi, who tried to get in his way. He use to search for Chase Young and fight him to see if he was a true heylin. After finding then fighting him, Lao learned that Chase was just a weakling like any other Heylins he's fought. He wondered why he was so much more powerful than them. Age difference? Skills? Lao had to know the answer why the new Heylins were so weak. He left Chase alive, and forced Chase to explain. Chase didn't know how to. Once they sat on the table to eat and discuss, Lao noticed the his soup tasted odd. It was weaker, a fake. It was the actual soup, but more of an immitation. Lao knew finally knew why. Later on Cynic joined the Lao and Chase's domain, and they became the Heylin Trio. They now live in the Chase's castle that floats in the skys above the city.

PERSONALITY; This lazy, sloth-like, unmotivated teen's only goal is to just relax and get away with anything. With absolutely no intrest in dominating the world or even ruling over humanity, this slacker knows how to dance and have a great time. Infact, he does his combat as if he were dancing. He's lean and flexible; able to get out of tight positions. Though lazy he sure loves to stir up some trouble especially with his rival, Bay. He's one of the reasons why the city is in such a bad shape because of drug dealing and copkilling capabilities.
HISTORY; Cynic wasn't the "Child Prodigy" in his family, even though his family was living a marvelous life. Not too rich, not too poor, not too happy, not too sad. A perfert normal family. But Cynic hated the fact that nothing interesting ever happens in his life as a normal child. He began being friends with the wrong people during his highschool year. He used drugs, does unprotected sex, joined a gang, dropped out of highschool, shot innocent people, and stole from banks and stores. His parents were ashamed of him, but never disowned him, because they loved him so much. His baby sister, Lauren, only six-years-old knew nothing of her brother runing his life. She only loved him and accepted him as her role model. Cynic knew she should never follow his footsteps, so he influenced her to stay away from drugs and bad people, even though he does.
Unexpectingly, while baby-sitting his little sister, his recieved news, from a police phone call, that his parents were killed in a car accident. Going into deeper details, he realized that, his own gang was the cause of this. A mere street race was the cause of the two deaths. Enraged, Cynic told Lauren to stay home and never come out of the house while he leaves to go talk to his "friends". Unknowing of what's going on, Lauren kindly smiled and awaited his return. He angrily yelled at few of the members of the gang, demanding them to tell him who was the driver. After threating a few members, he found out that the driver was his leader. Blinded with rage, he charged around the "hide out" and punched the leader of his gang square in the face. A few minutes after the fight, he was crowned new leader of his gang. Flattering to Cynic, he now has two responsibilities: Being a good leader of his gang, and raising his baby sister on his own. Returning home, after that night he found his sister half asleep on the chair where he left her. Overjoyed of her brother returning back home, she leaped towards him and gave him large hugs and small kisses. Cynic grew uneasy having to tell her that thier mother and father are no longer of this world. Lauren lets go of her "Big Bwother" to listen to the news Cynic has to give her. He informed her that "Mommy and Daddy aren't comming home" and that "They're in heaven". Shocked, Lauren bawled; crying for her parents, and hot tears streamed down her red cheeks and onto Cynic's shirt. Cynic, still on his knees, held his baby sister against him in a tight embrace and cried with her. He tried comforting her saying "Don't worry." and "Big Brother Conner will be here."
A few months have past after thier parents died, Lauren was starting Kindergarden and life was going fine for the two siblings. Cynic always reminded Lauren to never leave the house and always ride the school bus back home and to school. While his sister was at school, he would do his "job" and bring home money, from the bank. Yet, Lauren still doesn't know the life that her brother has. One day, a friend of hers was walking her home from school, even though Cynic warned her not to walk home from school. Cynic was just in the center of a block smoking with three other friends, laughing about certain moment, until a car showed up. Cynic noticed it approaching and saw guns inside, then he also heard a "Big Bwother!" from afar. His sister Lauren was out in the open and an enemy gang was closing in with loaded guns. He screamed out to his sister to get down. Not being able to hear her brother, she just ran towards him to give him a big hug. A Uzi gun leans out of the car window and begins shooting. Lauren heard the first few shots and ran quickly towards her brother, but a bullet penetrated through her leg and she stumbled, then six more penetrated through her body. Her friend escaped unharmed, but Lauren layed dying. His gang managed to dodge the bullets, and the enemy drove off quickly. Cynic rushed towards his baby sister. She uttered her last words, "Bwother. I see Mommy and Daddy." and died in his arms. Filled with anguish, he gripped his sister tightly and his gang tried comforting him. He pushed away the comfort from his gang and ran back home holding the body of Lauren.
With so many emotions clouding his mind, all he could do was bargain with god, begging him to bring Lauren back. After giving up his unheard prayers, all he can do now is try to forget, until he heard a Southern voice. He saw a grey and black bird on his couch and it portrayed a hollogram of a bean talking to him. This bean introduced himself as Hannibal Roy Bean. Cynic believed that he's just seeing things and tries to ignore the talking bean. Hannibal convinces Cynic that he is able to get rid of all the memories that he has about the death of his family. Hannibal's Ying-Ying bird gives Cynic a canteen filled with the Lao Meng Loan soup and commands Cynic to drink it. Willingly, Cynic drinks it all down and feels the fury and anger rushing through him. His smooth hair became think and brittle, his face enlongated into a shape of a wolf, the hair on his body grew thick and brittle like quills and shread through his clothing. Filled with rage, he broke out of his home and rushed to the enemies's hide out. He slaughtered everyone there by slicing them open andshooting out his large quills at them. After wiping them out, he thought about the death of his parents and decided to go after this own gang. After slaughtering them the same way, he returned home a changed person. His hair was no longer raven black, but black that shined a blue tint. His eyes gleeming yellow, and his body magically having armor. He learned that, he is no longer human and that he must move on and forget everything in his past. He burned down his home and became a wanderer. He use to work for Hannibal Bean, doing his biddings and is close friends with Jack Spicer. He now lives with Chase and Lao in the castle that is hovering above the sky of the City below.

PERSONALITY; Calm and collective. This heylin mostly spends his time studying and learning since he's currently in college, for the 3rd time (He's able to go to college from scholarship). Though he quite patient and easy going, he has his limits and will snap if you bother him too much, but this is caused because he's heylin. Completely curious and wants to experience everything worth experiencing. Plus a quick learner. He tends to be quite sarcastic at times, and enjoys mocking other people. If he doens't like you, mainly because you're a woman, he'll always give you the cold shoulder, maybe call you names and discriminate you.
HISTORY; Born in a small city-state in Cambodia, young Rith grew up in an extremely wealthy family, and his education was his first priority to his family. He was forced to study 5 different language at the same time, along with math, reading and writing, and other important subjects. Because of his family pushing him to study so much, his whole life revolves around it, as if studying and learning is the key to life and happiness.
Other than just learning intellectually, he became interested in martial arts, mostly Bokator, which he found extremely interesting. He began studying the arts of it, along with other martial arts. So not only was he acedemically intelligent, but he is has also begun to train to be a master at a few martial arts around the age of 16.
A few months after his 19th birthday, Rith met a man of strange abnormality. His eyes gleemed a deadly shade of purple, and armor was not of his country. The man was looking for a challenger, someone worthy enough to fight him. Rith felt bold and took the challenge. He lost. The man did not finish him off. He was quite impressed of his intelligence and skill, and said, "An intelligensia such as yourself should not go to waste." The man offered him a soup, and the Rith had no choice but to drink it. Rith could no longer be known as a human, his body transformed almost completely. His tan skin turned lighter. His dark brown hair became black with aqua tints. His eyes became amber and slitted. The man explained what happened to him. Rith is now a Heylin and will live in imortality as long as he constantly drinks the Lao Meng Loan soup.

PERSONALITY; Very very dorky. Like, anime fan, comic book reader, card trader type of dorky. Yes, Bay is your typical male otaku. He might seem like a slacker, but he's very hard working and very serious at certain matters. When he's in love, sometimes he stutters when he talks. He's very sweet when it comes to romance, but he's shy and always asks if it's okay to do something. He has a hard time trying to harness his anger since he became Heylin, but he is currently learning to control it.
HISTORY; Growing up on a farm near the ocean of Vietnam, he is a hard worker and helps his father and his 4 older brothers while his 2 older sisters help out the mother. Even though he rebelled against some of his parent's order, he'd help out on the farm to harness this new power he was born with. His powers weren't deadly, yet, but they harm his family and he had no choice but to harness it or live far away.
Throughout his years of working, he still couldn't harness it, and his powers became deadly. Trying to play with his dog, Thotho, the static in his hand was so high that it fried his dog. He knew he became dangerous and he had no choice but to leave.
His family felt uneasy about the idea of Bay leaving, they wouldn't let him go. They promised him that they'll find a way to harness his power.
His father heard from his traders that there was a Xiaolin Temple on which trains these elemental weilder's power. Informing Bay he was sent to China to live with the Xiaolin Monks.
Bay immediatly became friends with Raimundo and they grew to have a strong bond. Winning many showdowns together and beating the crap out Spicer was the best two years of his life. He learned to harness his powers within the years of his stay. He also met Wren, in which he had interest in. He didn't have the guts to tell her but he always dreamed.
A few weeks after this 2nd aniversity as a Xiaolin Monk, he grown tired of fighting with good. He wanted to experiment being Heylin, and Chase over heard him. Chase Young promised that, if Bay turned Heylin, he will become far more powerful that he ever dreamed, and then probably win Wren. Chase offered him the Lao Meng Loan soup and Bay gladly drank it. The feeling of power rushed through his body. He gagged and chokedand his hair turned from black to white, his eyes grey to purple. He has now became Heylin and he can't turn back.
For a few months, he's grown happier being evil. He's alot more powerful, like Chase has promised, but he still is nervous to talk to Wren. He decided to go independant leaving Chase's castle where he, Lao, and Cynic live. He was getting irritated by Cynic's slacking attitude.

PERSONALITY; Chase Young is a high standard type of guy and wants only the best (With materials, not people). He can be a little snobby, but he's also sleazy, bossy, and... beat-people-while-they're-down mean. When it comes to bondage, he mostly plays the sadistic one, but every now and then he and his partner(s) switch roles (He doesn't mind being the masochist). He tends to be greedy, being wealthy an all, if he lends you money, he expects to be paid back, with money or your body. Overall, he's the city's serial rapist and miraculously gets away with it from the police but gets punished for it by Lao.
HISTORY; Chase use to be... not a rapist. Infact he was once a very.. not-a-rapist monk, till Hannibal came and turned him Heylin for hsi own selfish desires. The soup changed Chase not only physically but mentally as well. He began to obsess over sex and rape people.
Right now, Chase live with two other Heylins, Lao and Cynic, in his castle. All were once enemies, but now tolerate each other and grown to be "roomies" so said Cynic

PERSONALITY; Snappy, witty. This heylin doesn't want to take crap from anyone. He's pretty arogant and thinks he's the cream of the crop, since he never met other Heylins TILL NOW! He isn't easily impressed, and very sarcastic. He likes taking other people's flaws and making them into a big deal. He doesn't have alot of friends, nor does he want to. He enjoys getting into arguements, combat.
HISTORY; Born in a very prestigious family in India, he spent most of his childhood being forced educated so he can be as successful as his father. Being like his father is the last thing he had in his mind. He somtimes sneaks out of his own home and goes to practice combat with the only man he ever looked up to. The man never gave his name, but young Aadhira called him "Nameless". Nameless was a middle aged man, from "The North". The two gave eachother snappy come backs almost every minute, that's how they're friendship grew. They fought hand to hand combat with eachother, which is how Aadhira learned to fight. At the age of 22, Aadhira fought with his father, and was kicked out of his home. He spent the next two years with Nameless, till Nameless died from the bubonic plague. Aadhira was in misery when his best friend died, but soon later he caught the bubonic plague. He didn't want to die, although his friend died. He wanted to live, so he may see his friend in his new form. He believed in Hinduism dearly. He learned so much now, he didn't want to start over again. Then he was visited by, hysterically, a talking bean. The bean introduced himself as Hannibal Roy Bean. The bean offered the soup to him, in trade that Aadhira works under him. Aadhira didn't think twice, he drank it, turned into a Heylin Wolf. Hannibal thought he finally had someone to kill Lao Jiang, but Aadhira immediatly blew off Hannibal and made his own road.

PERSONALITY; Unlike how she was when she was human, she's actually very.. evil? I guess evil isn't the word, but she is pretty sinister. She mostly enjoys to have men wrapped around her finger and use them to help her make more spider children (basically just the spiders you see today). Though she gives birth a lot she isn't very motherly (Almost like a snake). When in an unknown place and she's.. obviously blind, she will do whatever she can in her power to earn peoples trust. Wether it's being nice, or being slutty.
HISTORY; Zhen Ming was actually Sun Xiong Fei, a servant of Lao Jiang when they were both human. Not only was she his made, but she was also a caretaker of Meng Loan when Lao was away to do business. She was a big part in the Jiang family, and she was very much loved, and she loved them back. She was happy to serve under him. Lao taught Zhen Ming to read and write Mandirin in secret, since women weren't allowed to be educated. With the education she had, she was able to assist Lao in his potion making. Not only that, but she was Lao's best friend. They never had a romantic relationship, nor wanted to.
The night when Lao made the Lao Meng Loan soup, Zhen Ming returned home with ingredients for future potions. She saw Meng Loan's body, and went to it, crying and calling out to her till she heard noises in Lao's lab. She made her way towards it, watching Lao consume the soup. This was just too much for the servant woman, a death and top it off with her best friend turning into a monster and rampaging out. She might as just investigate some more before Lao comes back to kill her, so she thought. Learning how to read she read Lao's notes on the potion he just drank. Seeing what it's made of, and what it does, she looked back at the soup. There's still some left. If she drank it, she will turn into a monster too, but she'll have power and imortality. She can serve Lao forever! Before she drinked it, she had to see if it can save Meng Loan. She poured a few drops in Meng Loan's mouth, nothing. It can't give immortality to things already dead. She prayed and was in grief for a few hours before she drank the soup, but before she can taste it, the manor lit up into flames. The fire being so intense, it damaged Sun Xiong's eyes rendering her blind. She knew she was going to die if she didn't do something. With the soup still in her hand she drank every drop, and it tasted like crap. But she was able to escape.
Sun Xiong can't bare to still call herself with that name, turning into the monster she is now. She renamed herself Zhen Ming, so that one day when she meets Lao again he won't reconize her, even though she wished to meet him again, where ever he is.
She spends her life, drinking the artificial Lao Meng Loan soup, luring men, and giving birth. Some say, she was the one who brough spiders to the earth, even though spiders came before her. It was because she drank the original soup, was why she could only give birth to spiders. She was unable to speak any language other than her ancient language, till she found the Retainer of Multi-languages. Now she can speak english, with a heavy accent.
